Education

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, John Romundstad received a B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1971, and a J. D. from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1976. In 1986 he headed West, and  also received a LL.M. in Taxation (Master’s in Taxation) from the University of San Diego, School of Law.   He is a Certified Specialist, Taxation Law, registered with the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.

Personal

Married for over 30 years, John and his family live in a beautifully restored 1903 home located one block from the ocean in Long Beach, CA. His interests include reading, running and entertaining in his historic district home.
